Kansetsu-waza

Kansetsu-waza  (Arm-lock)

On the mat, legal Kansetsu-waza (arm lock) can be used in certain age groups.  Typically, Brown and Black belt divisions are allowed to use Kansetsu-waza in their matches.

Ippon is awarded when contestants are on the mat and one submits from an effective arm lock (Kansetsu-waza)
