A: Learn.USJF.com is the United States Judo Federation’s online learning platform. It provides courses, resources, and certifications for judo coaches, instructors, and enthusiasts, designed to improve teaching skills, safety, and overall knowledge of judo.

Q: Who can enroll in the courses?
A: Courses are open to any Judo member regardless of National Judo affliation (USJF, USJA, USA Judo), including coaches, teachers, instructors, and judoka who wish to deepen their understanding of judo principles, techniques, and pedagogy. Some courses may have specific prerequisites.

Q: Do I need a USJF membership to access courses?
A: No you do NOT need USJF membership to access the course. USJF membership is REQUIRED if you are seeking a certification.

The Contest Rules and Referee Education and Nage-no-Kata Course: Access is Free to the judo community. Registration is required to access the program

Certification & Credentials

Q: What is the difference between a certificate and a certification?
A: A certificate of completion indicates that you have finished a course. A certification signifies that you have met the requirements to hold a formal credential, such as USJF Teacher Certification or Elite National Coach status.

Q: How long is a certification valid?
A: Certification validity depends on the program. For example, the USJF Elite National Coach credential is valid for two years and requires re-certification to maintain active status.

Q: How do I renew my certification?
A: Re-certification involves completing the relevant course or refresher program, passing required assessments, and staying updated with USJF guidelines and best practices.

Q: How do I get proof of my course completion?
