Nage-no-Kata Course Completion
Congratulations on successfully completing the USJF Nage-no-Kata Knowledge Course!
Nage-no-Kata is one of Kodokan Judo’s randori-no-kata (free-practice forms) and demonstrates the core principles of nage-waza (throwing techniques), helping students understand and apply throws more effectively in randori.
Complete all five modules and score at least 95% on the final quiz to earn the Certificate of Course Completion.
Yudanshakai Kata Requirements for Promotion.
- The USJF Board of Directors has approved this course to fulfill the kata requirement for Shodan. However, it is at the discretion of your local Yudanshakai to determine whether this course can be substituted for the kata requirement for Shodan rank.
